It seems like it’s all anyone can talk about these days … who the next Comelec chairman will be. So, since everybody’s doing it … for my money, the next Comelec chairman should be: a guy. He should be upwards of 55, but not older than 65. He should be old school, not squeamish and not willing to bend over backwards for NGOs and their Oprah-esque bullshit. He should know what a computer is and have a sound idea of what it can do, but he doesn’t have to be a programmer. He shouldn’t be a former judge or justice; he should come from a political background and have some management experience. He should not be religious and given to fits of preaching.
Now, if they can only find someone who’s all that, I’m a-gonna be a happy camper.

i’d like to add that he should also be willing to fire (and prosecute if need be) anyone who screws up on his watch, no matter who the f*ck appointed them.
